Hi,
For the most part, HxD renders with GDI HDP rendering properly, but some of the (custom) rendering of the hex view does not and looks blurry when enabled, a few glitches happen as well.
To enable this for HxD Go to the Compatibility tab then set the setting to:
Set display scale anything other than 100% and it will have bugs.
Should be a simple fix.
Support High-DPI GDI Rendering
Re: Support High-DPI GDI Rendering
It needs a new set of icons, for which I need a new license.
Delphi's VCL has several bugs for high DPI, new versions are 2000€ (Delphi Professional is the cheapest edition supporting the features that HxD needs).

Re: Support High-DPI GDI Rendering
In which language is HxD written?
Wonder if I can help in any way. The lack of HiDPI support will only be a growing pain moving forward as low DPI monitors are increasingly being phased out.

Re: Support High-DPI GDI Rendering
It's written in Delphi. The issue is the price of the current version, and the need for a new set of icons (for which I have certain requirements), and some of which I made myself, and would need to remake in higher res.
HxD is blury on Windows 10 with scala 125 %
In Windows settings -> Screen -> "Scala and setup" I have 125 % zoom on the entire screen.
This makes HxD blury.

HxD high-DPI capable version
Hi,
I've been using HxD for quite a while. It is a great tool that I would not want to miss in my toolbox.
However, HxD does not appear to be high-DPI enabled for use with high DPI monitors under Windows 10.
With high-DPI monitors becoming more and more common, is high DPI support in HxD planned?
Thanks
Bernhard
