Not necessary: Context Menu

Good day.

I've manually added a context menu to my Win10Hx64 which enables opening a file in HxD.

I've U/L'd a screenshot for same here:

I've attached a .reg file with the needed additions to the registry.

While the attached is pretty benign, <insert normal disclaimers here> - use at your own risk, as I am not liable for your borking your OS...

I offer it, in case anyone else might be interested in having this, but hasn't yet implemented it themselves, and is unable to get it to work via the app's provisions.

Take care.

But, what's wrong with the context menu setting in the options dialog?
It doesn't seem to do anything that can't be done through it.

I have the same problem that I cannot get the Tools -> Options General context-menu settings to take effect, even if I run HxD as administrator. It used to work, but is not working with the latest (x86-64) just downloaded with Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit [Version 10.0.18362.356].
The registry edits provided do work.
