how to search and replace in multiple opened files?

Post by cl0cal »

hello, I need to search all occurrences of a hex array and replace it with another one.
This works perfectly with a single file, however I require doing this for over 100 files many times..
I cannot seem to find the way to do it all automatically other than manually laboring each and every file doing the 'search and replace..' how can I achieve this?

Unfortunately, there is no option to do this for several files at once.

that's a shame :( , your product is just about the cleanest looking gui and high performance I've seen, I know about it for more than 15 years so just wanted to first say thank you !

Any option to request the feature if it's still in active development? HxD can already open multiple files, enabling search&replace through them all at once would be amazing

This is one feature I'd also love to see, although having just finished editing sixty DOS .COM files, I'm not sure when I would need it again.

I'll move that to feature requests.
