Could you make the search only search the fields that comparison found different when doing a search.
My example is with a program for working on two way radios.
I would save the edit from the program running before and after reading the radio then do a comparison.
then search the changes for a Hex or text change that i know is in the radio.

I don't fully understand your example.
What I guess you mean is that two files should be compared, and the list of differences between two files should be searchable. So instead of searching complete files, you only search the highlighted differences.

OK if search cant search changes is there a way to export searches to a spread sheet so i can compare the searches?
