Feature request: make the user able to highlight some number of bytes in different colours.

You mean highlighting bytes based on their value, or their locations (offset and length), or a data structure definition?

Oh now I noticed that this was already requested in the past, I just posted a new thread with more details, I think highlighting based on user selections would be great and probably easiest to implement.
