Not a bug: Tile Window funtion always puts files in the wrong order, can't re-arrange

Not sure if bug, oversight or what but this is driving me crazy.

Due to how files are typically named for me, HxD likes to put file2.etx then file.ext

I haven't found a way to solve this other than manually moving the windows inside HxD because i'm so used to having the "reference" on the left and the other file on the right.


Other than that, I have no complaints about HxD - it's really nice.

It's how Windows does it automatically. The logic seems to be that the currently selected one will end up at the bottom of the cascade/first one of the tile.
Try activating another window/tab before you execute tile/cascade and see how the cascade/tiling changes.

Yeah, it's just the way MDI works under Windows
